-Plenty o' fish in the sea

This is a game I've made for strawberry jam 9, the game currently has:

-over 30 different fish

-over 20 CGs which around half are fully rendered,

-PLENTY of corny dialogue.

Go to the dock and fish up 5 fish to start the main quest-line.

The game takes place in a dystopian future where most of the seas on earth become radioactive where plenty of fish mutates into interesting stuff.

You play as Ember, a robot with a tragic past, trying to get over her depression trough fishing, and perhaps finding love along the way?

There of course is some other stuff I have planned for whenever I have time afterwards.

Also here's my twitter I like drawing stuff.

Nice game

Got stuck after the scene with Squid Lady, but get relationships with other 2 characters.

Would be interesting to see the continuation of the story

I keep getting stuck inside Lilac it seems there is no way to move and to fix it I can only reload the page and since there is no save I have to redo the game all over again each time but overall great art and all

Something is causing ava's door to act like the bike, teleporting you back to the beach.

also a lot of times there's no return button for the sell screen

Lots of lagging

It may give a better challenge for fishing but it's otherwise annoying

You think you could maybe fix that?

Hmm I haven't experienced any lagging while playtesting, no clue what could be the cause of that.

Who let the live bait out? The bugs are everywhere!

- When you move to the Jungle and back, your Inventory appears empty until you catch a fish

- When you are in the Sell menu in the Shop, you can move around and interact with the vehicle. Doing so breaks the shop and maybe some quest dialogs too, until you catch a fish.

- In the Jungle, the fishing area extends down too far. The tree appears over the minigame, making you play it blind.

- In the fishing minigame, the velocity of the cursor seems to carry over from one attempt to the next. It's frustrating when you're moving fast to catch an escaping fish and fail, then start the next attempt at a disadvantage because your cursor flies out right away.

Thanks for the bug report, I'll see about fixing them when I've got the time
